Major-General Khamis Saif bin Sowaif, Director-General of the Criminal Security at the Ministry of Interior and Chairman of the Higher Committee for Anti-Narcotics, said the UAE alongside the world countries will celebrate the event, which falls on June 26.

He added that the higher committee held its meeting last week to review the final preparations for the event nationwide.

Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Owais, acting Director-General of the Federal Anti-Narcotics General Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, said that the distinguished anti-narcotics elements, some societies and societal dignitaries, who had participated in different anti-drugs activities will be honoured at the sideline of the event.
