Mohammed Salem joins Al Ain

DUBAI — Al Ain FC have secured the services of the Al Dhafra captain Mohammed Salem who has been signed for two seasons.
The player was officially introduced to the media in a special ceremony along with Hilal Saeed and the Saudi star Yasser Al Qahtani along with other players.
Al Qahtani will wear jersey No. 9, Argentinean forward Natcho Scocco will wear jersey No. 32, former Sharjah keeper Mahmoud Al Mas will don No. 22, Al Shabab former striker Mohammed Nasser will take No. 28, Al Nasr’s former forward Mohammed Malullah will be given No. 29, Al Dhafra’s former midfielder Mohammed Salem will get No. 8 and Hilal Saeed will wear No. 20.
Al Ain has already introduced the Romanian forward Mirel Radoi who was also transferred from the Saudi Club Al Hilal.
Al Ahli likely to sign Husain
Meanwhile, Al Ahli is close to signing Bahrain’s international defender Mohammed Hussain as the fourth Asian player, it was reported on Friday.
According to Al Khaleej newspaper, negotiations with Bahrain’s Al Ahli have so far been fruitful and the two sides have reportedly reached a final agreement on the contract of the player for one season on loan.
Mohammed Hussain is in Dubai with the Bahraini national team and a meeting is planned with Al Ahli Dubai officials.
Meanwhile, Dubai Sports Club have concluded a successful deal with the Moroccan pro Nabil Al Dawoudi for two seasons.
