And don’t stop shooting with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 Once again, I’m faced with another tough review...Not because the cam is the kind that’ll take me long to figure out, but because this baby is packed with features. Thanks to Panasonic and their Lumix DMC-GF5 digital interchangeable lens camera, I was up (again) until the sun’s rays showed up through my window.
The key features here, are the new 12.1MP Live MOS Sensor and Venus Engine True Picture Quality. In short, it has high-sensitivity signal processing and significantly takes care of noise. For an amateur photographer like me, these features will come in handy. Its Contrast AF has higher accuracy, and features a ultra-high-speed 0.09-second-of-light-speed AF that will enable you to capture even the fastest moving object clearly. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, anyone? In these types of gizmos, I’m very critical about the LCD display. Good thing the Lumix DMC-GF5’s monitor gives a good response, and its built-in flash will remind you of the Transformers. If you want to make the most out of the Lumix DMC-GF5, snap on the new Lumix G X Vario 12-35mm/F2.8 ASPH./Power OIS (whew!) standard zoom lens for the Lumic G Micro System. And what makes it special? It has Nano Surface Coating to minimise ghosts and flares, and its Power OIS (optical image stabiliser) will make sure you get clear shots even in low-light conditions... And lots more. You know what’s tougher than holding yourself back from a shoot-out with this kind of a neat camera? Squeezing the most you can about something good in this much space. Good thing is, it adds a touch of curiosity. Doesn’t it?
THE LAUNCHPADSAMSUNG WB850F SMART CAMERA — Compact, light and durable, Samsung’s latest travel zoom shooter enhances advanced optical zoom and image quality, with Wi-Fi to boot. CANON POWERSHOT D20 — Waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, dustproof. It’s “engineered to be a part of the adventure” and “when living life to the extreme”.
